Silverman is Head of Investor Relations at Thomas, McNerney & Partners LLC.
She joined the firm in 2010.
She has extensive experience in the venture capital industry.
Previously, she was Partner-US Investor Relations at Advent Ventures Life Sciences, and before that she spent thirteen years at HealthCare Ventures LLC, previously as Director of LP Relations and Director of Administration.
While at Advent and HealthCare, she was instrumental in raising over $800 million.
Ms. Silverman has a wide-ranging knowledge of the biotechnology industry, including an in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical clinical research and regulatory filings, having concentrated on these areas earlier in her career at The Liposome Company, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company subsequently acquired by Elan; Biodecision Incorporated, a clinical research organization; and Shadyside Hospital, a major teaching and research hospital.
