Earlier in his career, Michael worked directly for, or as a consultant to, emerging technology companies, and in the corporate finance, pharmaceutical and clinical research industries.
Michael received his B.Sc.
from McGill University and his Ph.D.
in Pharmacology and Neuroscience from the University of Toronto.
Michael serves on the Board of Trustees for the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where he is on the Business and Audit Committee and Chairs the Investment Subcommittee.
Michael is also a member of the Board of Directors for Toronto Innovation Acceleration Partners (TIAP), where he chairs the Investment Committee, is on the Board of ORT Canada and serves on the Faculty of Science Advisory Board at McGill University.
