Thomas Szczurek

Mr. Szczurek has experience with focus in general management, strategy development, acquisitions, turnarounds, marketing, sales, new product development and process reengineering in both consumer and commercial products industries.
Prior to joining American Capital, Mr. Szczurek was President for Cosco Home & Office Products, a division of Dorel Industries, where he led the successful turnaround of the company and drove a large-scale growth initiative.
Prior to Cosco, Mr. Szczurek held senior management positions with Newell Rubbermaid, Evenflo and Paxar in which he developed and executed strategies that generated market and revenue expansion in highly competitive business segments.
Mr. Szczurek received his MBA from the University of Cincinnati and his Bachelor's in Marketing with highest honors from Western Illinois University.
