Adam Johnston

Mr. Johnston is a member of the private equity team, focusing on secondaries and distressed investments.
Prior to joining StepStone, Mr. Johnston was a senior associate at Equifin Alternative Investments, an alternative asset management firm focused on the private equity asset class.
Before that Mr. Johnston was an associate with KPS Capital Partners, a turnaround private equity firm with US$6 billion of assets under management.
Before KPS, Mr. Johnston worked as an analyst in the M&A and restructuring groups for Lazard Frères & Co. Mr. Johnston received a BA from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business, where he majored in finance.
