Alexey Belkin

Mr. Alexey Belkin is a Senior Portfolio Manager at First Asset Management JSC.
He began his career as a Portfolio Manager in New York in 1995, where he managed equity portfolios for regional and global funds Croesus Capital Management and Rothschild Asset Management.
Prior to joining Pervaya Management Company, from 2009 to May 2019, Mr. Belkin worked in the Capital Asset Management Group as Head of the Investment Department.
He was responsible for the formation of an investment strategy for Russian institutional clients, took part in the development of a risk management system, new strategies for mutual funds, managed global equity and Eurobond funds for private clients.
Prior to that, from 2001 to 2007, he worked as a Portfolio Manager and Head of the Asset Management department at MC Aton-Management, where he was responsible for building investment portfolios in the Russian and global markets for NPFs, insurance companies and private clients.
Mr. Belkin graduated from the Moscow State Linguistic University, studied macroeconomics at Connecticut College and in 1993 completed an MBA program with a specialization in finance from the University of Connecticut.
