Alberta Oilsands, Inc. is engaged in the exploration and development of drill-defined domestic assets, and an expanding portfolio of international projects. The company is focused on the exploration and development of bitumen in the Athabasca oil sands region of northeast Alberta. It holds interest in following projects: clearwater, grand rapids, algar lake, mackay river, Republic of Zambia, Namibia and Democratic Repubilc of the Congo. Alberta Oilsands was founded by Michael L. Lee and Shabir Premji on December 5, 2003 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.

Eurogas Corp. was engaged in oil and natural gas exploration activities. The company had interest in the largest accumulation of producing oil and natural gas assets in Ontario, being the Lake Erie Assets, the development of an offshore gas storage facility in Spain, being the Castor Project. Its projects are based in Spain and Tunisia. Eurogas was developing the Amposta underground natural gas storage facility in Spain, as well as conducting exploration programs for oil and natural gas reserves on exploration concessions both on and offshore Tunisia. The company was founded on February 16, 1983 and was headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
