Mr. Woelfel began his professional career in 1981, as a co-founder of a computer hardware, software, and supply company in Orange, California.
He later spent five years in government service, working for the Naval Investigative Service with assignments in San Diego, Japan and Washington, D.C.
From 1990 to 1999, Mr. Woelfel gathered and managed $258 million in assets as a Vice President, Financial Consultant and Syndicate Coordinator for Salomon Smith Barney.
While there he was recognized as a member of the Firm’s “First Tier” in sales performance.
Prior to joining Flagstone’s institutional equity sales group in 2005, Mr. Woelfel worked for two years at the Chicago Board of Options as a market-maker in seventeen listed stocks.
He worked as a Financial Advisor at J.P.
Morgan Chase, and as a private investor trading equity offerings as well as equity and bond futures.
Mr. Woelfel is a 1980 graduate of Marshall University, and participated in the International/London Studies Program.
