Formerly known as DFG Investment Advisers, Inc., the firm was founded in 2006 by O. Volkan Kurtas, Moritz Hilf and Kimito Iwamoto. They became Vibrant Capital Partners, Inc. in 2021. The firm is owned by Vibrant Capital Partners LLC. VCP discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management and investment advisory services to investors such as insurance companies, pension funds, banks, private investment funds, family offices, ad fund-of-funds, mainly in the form of pooled investment vehicles and separate accounts.

Octagon Credit Investors LLC (Octagon) is a SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in New York City. The firm was founded by Andrew Gordon, James Ferguson and Joyce Delucca in 1994 as a business unit of Chemical Bank a (predecessor of JPMorgan Chase & Co.) to create an asset management capability for below investment grade debt investments. They were incorporated in 1998 and separated from The Chase Manhattan Corp. in 1999. In 2016, the firm was acquired by Conning & Co., which is ultimately owned by Cathay Financial Holding Co., Ltd. (TPE: 2882) in Taiwan. Octagon manages CLOs, separately managed accounts, private funds, and registered Funds.
