Mr. Damian Fitzpatrick is a Portfolio Manager at AMP Capital Investors Ltd.
He is the fund manager for the property portfolio of a key private client, as well as Fund Manager of hybrid fund for retail investors, the Core Property Fund.
As fund manager, Mr. Fitzpatrick is responsible for establishing and implementing portfolio and asset strategy for the funds as well as ensuring consistency with the overall property portfolio strategy of AMP Capital.
Previous roles with AMP Capital include Head of Commercial for AMP Capital Office & Industrial and Asset Manager for the AMP Capital Wholesale Office Fund.
Joining AMP Capital in 2003, Mr. Fitzpatrick’s career spans more than 35 years in property development, asset management and leasing including a time as Director of Asset Management with the Principal Office Fund and BT Office Trust.
In July 1996, he was appointed as Development Manager with Bankers Trust and was responsible for the construction and leasing of 400 George Street, Sydney.
From 1991 to 1996 Mr. Fitzpatrick was an associate director with Bovis McLachlan providing advice on such diverse properties as Colonial’s Bennelong Point project and Lady Mary Fairfax’s Harrington Park redevelopment.
