Daniel J. Bloom

Prior to joining Monument Capital Group, Mr. Bloom served in various operating capacities in the private and public sectors including with Rockwell Collins, Inc., the United States Department of Commerce, Bankers' Association for Finance and Trade and Export-Import Bank of the United States.
Previously in his role at the U.S.
Department of Commerce, Mr. Bloom managed a global portfolio of international trade and project finance transactions valued in excess of $300 billion, developed and coordinated an effective advocacy policy for the U.S.
government on behalf of U.S.
commercial interests and military sales, and was instrumental in attaining more than $62 billion in signed international procurements.
Highly regarded for his efforts to coordinate and execute advocacy strategies with the President's Cabinet and National Security Council, Mr. Bloom established a solid U.S.
commercial presence in five multilateral development banks and shaped strategy that markedly enhanced global business-development opportunities for U.S.
companies.
Earlier, Mr. Bloom was a Principal with Thompson and Waldron, a Virginia based law firm.
Previously, Mr. Bloom served as project manager to the Chairman of Export Import Bank of the United States reforming credit and guarantee policies for small business exporters.
Mr. Bloom earned a BA in International Relations from Northeastern Illinois University, and he also earned an MA in public finance from The George Washington University.
Mr. Bloom has also published many articles including one on Reforming the Congressional Budget Process in the Government Accountants Journal.
