Wood is a Portfolio Manager for the Emerging Markets Fixed Income Team at Fischer Francis Trees & Watts (UK) Ltd.
He is focused on Eastern European, Middle East and African investments.
Before joining FFTW, he was a Portfolio Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa with Rexiter’s fixed income team.
He joined Rexiter in February 2005, initially providing macroeconomic research to the equity team and moving early in 2006 to Rexiter’s fixed income arm of the business.
Prior to that, Mr. Wood was a member of SSgA’s trade support team.
He also worked for Schroder Investment Management as a member of the Client Services team and was a key member in the launch process of a wide range of innovative investment products.
He was also employed at City Financial Partners Limited and Pearl Assurance as a Financial Adviser.
Mr. Wood earned a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Brighton University.
