Prior to joining 747 Capital, Ms. Stoot managed business development, investor relations and investor communications for Panton Capital Group, a New York- based hedge fund where she was responsible for growing the firm from a seed investment of 35 million to 1 billion dollar in assets under management.
Prior to Panton, she worked at Acorn Partners, a multi-strategy fund of hedge funds.
She started her career at White & Case LLP, where she worked as associate attorney for four years specializing in advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and US and off-shore investment entities.
Ms. Stoot has a J.D.
from the University of Amsterdam and a masters degree in International Taxation from Harvard University School of Law.
