Emilie Scherger

After earning a Bachelors Degree (Honors) in Biology from the University of Missouri, Emilie Scherger joined the Genome Sequencing Center at the Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, where she worked on the Human Genome Project and the C.
elegans project as a research associate.
While there, she co-authored a paper on C.
elegans that was published in Science, and a paper on the human genome project that was published in Nature.
Scherger then moved to BD Biosciences Clontech in Mountain View, California, where she worked as a Project Leader and Product Launch Coordinator.
She managed and tracked the launch of over 25 products per quarter, improved product launch cycle times, and trained management groups on product launch processes and procedures.
