DR.
GERHARD REBEL is a former engineering research fellow and lecturer at the University of Reading, UK, where he specialized in mechanical engineering system modelling, materials science and advanced sensor systems.
He holds a BSc and PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and an MSc in international securities, investment and banking from the ISMA Centre, University of Reading.
Dr. Rebel has extensive experience of managing high budget technology and R&D projects both within academic and commercial environments in the US, UK, Germany and South Africa.
He is the author of a wide range of technical publications in mechanical engineering and has made numerous international conference presentations in the past ten years.
His particular area of interest is the development and application of new technologies to solve practical problems in science and engineering.
