Siddiqi is the founder of Institute of Management Consultants Bangladesh, Micro Industries Development Assistance & Services.
He worked as a Vice Chancellor at North South University and as a Professor at BRAC Business School, Dhaka School of Economics, Minnesota State University-Mankato, The Ohio State University, and BRAC University.
He also served as a Member-Bangladesh Commission at United Nations Educational, Scientific & Cultural Org and as a President at Association of Mgmt Dev Institutions in South Asia and Fulbright Alumni Association of Bangladesh.
He was an Independent Director at BRAC-EPL Investments Ltd., Asia Pacific General Insurance Co. Ltd., and BRAC Bank Plc.
He was a Director at Brac IT Services Ltd.
and Institute of Business Administration (Dhaka).
He holds a doctorate degree from Manchester Business School and an MBA degree from Graduate School of Public & International Affairs.
He also completed his undergraduate and graduate studies from the University of Dhaka and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
