Keating is an Institutional Equity Portfolio Manager at MFS Investment Management Canada Ltd.
He participates in the research process and strategy discussions, assesses portfolio risk, customizes portfolios to client objectives and guidelines, and manages daily cash flows.
He communicates investment policy, strategy and positioning.
He joined MFS in 2007 as an equity research analyst, responsible for global financial stocks and assumed portfolio management responsibilities in 2010 for the firm's Global Research analyst-led portfolio.
He was named to his position in 2015.
Prior to MFS, he spent five years and eight years covering Canadian banks and insurance companies as an analyst at RBC Dominion Securities and Merrill Lynch Canada, respectively.
He has previously worked for Nesbit Thomson, Citibank (Canada) and Deloitte Haskins & Sells.
He began his career in the financial services industry in 1983.
He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toronto.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
