Mr. Zeliff started in the investment business in 1967 and earned his CFP designation in 1972.
He established the predecessor firm to Zeliff Wallace Jackson in 1974.
After graduating from Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Georgia, Mr. Zeliff received a bachelor's degree from Emory University and a bachelor's of law degree from the University of Georgia.
He completed two years of active duty with the U.S.
Army and five years of Army Reserve training.
Mr. Zeliff has participated on a variety of civic boards.
He is co-founder and first president of the Friends of the Decorative Arts at the High Museum of Art and co-founder and chairman of the Decorative Arts Acquisition Trust.
He has served as president of the Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited, is a past member of the Institutional Review Board of Piedmont Hospital and a past member of the Board of Visitors of Presbyterian College.
A member of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta and an elder, Mr. Zeliff chaired the annual missions conference and led a team to Brazil in 1997.
He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Presbyterian Homes.
His other civic activities include membership in the Midtown-Atlanta Rotary Club, where he is a Paul Harris fellow.
He is also a member of the Columbia Theological Seminary Investment Committee.
For many years, he was a leader at the troop level of The Boy Scouts of America.
Mr. Zeliff is married and has two sons, Stephen and Peter.
