Headquartered in Singapore, the firm was founded in 1931 as a branch office AIA Co. Ltd. They became a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2011 and was renamed AIA Singapore Pte Ltd. AIA-Singapore offers a range of products and services including retirement savings plans, life insurance and accident and health insurance for individuals and also provides employee benefits, credit life and pension services to corporate clients.

AIAIM manages funds that specialize in the Asian region.
