Kristin Deutmeyer is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Chicago office where she co-leads the Digital Officers Practice.
She is also a member of the global Consumer Markets and CEO & Board of Directors practices.
Kristin specializes in general management and digital searches across the retail, consumer internet, products, services, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors.
She has deep experience working for publicly traded corporations, privately held companies, founder/owner companies, private equity firms and financially distressed companies.
Kristin helps companies accelerate growth by attracting modern, transformational talent necessary to compete in today’s rapidly changing business landscape.
She takes a creative approach to recruiting talent across traditional industry boundaries who can spur innovation and create value and is passionate about building diverse teams.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Kristin spent more than a decade as a public relations consultant building consumer-facing programs, developing corporate communications strategies, and producing award-winning events, all in effort to build and protect brands.
Most recently she owned her own public relations consultancy and developed national campaigns for brands.
Kristin started her Chicago agency career at GolinHarris where she managed corporate and consumer programs focusing on crisis management, media relations, and internal communications.
