Dr. Brown is re-appointed to her third term on the Board of WSIB in February 2009.
She is the Senate Majority Leader and a member of the Senate Labor, Commerce, Research and Development Committee.
Previously, she chaired the Senate Ways and Means Committee and served on Washington's Revenue Forecast Council.
She has represented the 3rd district in Spokane, Washington since 1993 and is currently an associate professor in the Department of Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University in Spokane.
Dr. Brown earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois and Master of Arts and Ph.D.
in Economics from the University of Colorado.
