Mr. Manuel H.
Ayala is Chief Investment Officer & Senior Vice President at Gar Wood Securities LLC.
Prior to joining Gar Wood Securities in 2004, Mr. Ayala worked as the Assistant Vice President for Knight Execution Partners.
Mr. Ayala was the Senior Vice President in Correspondent Services at Mesirow Financial Corporation.
He was an Assistant Vice President and CIO for the Correspondent Clearing unit of The Chicago Corporation from 1990 to 1997, where he developed and implemented and managed data management systems, which included execution billing and management reporting.
Prior to Chicago Corporation, he was an Assistant Vice President for Security Settlement from 1980 to 1990, where he managed their Midwest Correspondent Clearing unit.
He worked in operations unit of Merrill Lynch from 1975 to 1980, and completed their operation management training program.
Mr. Ayala received his BA in Philosophy at St. John’s Seminary College.
He also has received a Masters in Theology from De Andreis Seminary.
He maintains the Series 7, and 63 securities licenses.
