Mark joined Mellon Equity Associates, LLP in 1996.
Mark manages a variety of client portfolios, primarily invested in large and small-cap value and small-cap core equity products, His analytical experience has helped him in the successful application of disciplined investment approaches.
Mark is a strong contributor to the evolution of the Mellon Equity investment process, and he was instrumental to the development of the firm’s small-cap equity products.
Before moving to Pittsburgh, Mark was a financial analyst at Northeast Utilities where he handled various corporate treasury projects including bond refinancing and investment evaluations.
Previously, he applied his analytical skills as an engineer for Connecticut Light & Power, designing electric distribution schemes.
Mark currently teaches a portfolio management class at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, a class he has presented annually since 1997.
He is a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Financial Analysts, and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
Mark earned his BS in electrical engineering from Duke University, and earned an MBA in finance from the University of Bridgeport.
