Martin Joseph Eby

Mr. Martin J.
Eby is a Senior Financial Advisor at WMS Partners LLC.
He co-founded the firm in 1993 and currently serves as Chair of the Charitable and Community Outreach Committee.
He also serves on the Real Estate Investment Committee and is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.
He served as Chief Advisory Officer leading the firm’s Advisors and Client Services Teams from inception until December 2017.
As Senior Client Advisor, Mr. Eby is responsible for the general operations and management of the firm’s Family Office Clients.
This includes overseeing the investment of funds, managing risk, supervising cash management activities and executing strategies to support the family’s current and future needs.
Mr. Eby is a member of the Board of Trustees of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School where he serves as Chair of the Investment Committee as well as on the Development Committee.
He serves on the Fund Advisory Boards for Continental Realty Corporation and ValStone Partners.
Prior to forming WMS Partners, Mr. Eby served as a Financial Advisor at CIGNA Individual Financial Services and the Charter Corporation.
Previously, he served on the Board of Trustees of The Odyssey School in Stevenson, MD as Chair of the Investment Committee.
He has also been active in various associations including The Associated Catholic Charities of Baltimore, The McDonogh School, Notre Dame Preparatory School, The U.S.
Naval Academy, as well as his church.
He is a graduate of Loyola University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
He earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1986 and was a member of the National Association of Personal Advisors (NAPFA) for over 15 years.
