Mehar Jagota

Mehar oversees all legal and operational matters across Cohen Circle.
Previously, Mehar was an associate in the corporate departments at two leading, international law firms, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP., spanning more than 8 years.
Mehar also has extensive experience advising a variety of clients, including financial sponsors, Fortune 500 corporations and emerging companies in a broad range of corporation transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
In addition, Mehar has significant experience in the financial services industry, spanning asset management, wealth management, banking, insurance and the fintech space.
He holds a B.A.
in Economics and Government from Cornell and J.D.
from Columbia Law School.
