Mehran Ahmed is a Partner of InTandem Capital and has been working in private equity and finance for over two decades, identifying, evaluating, growing and exiting opportunities across the middle market.
Mehran brings significant experience partnering with middle market companies to help them develop breakout growth strategies and, in conjunction with the InTandem team, the resources to execute upon the growth.
In support of InTandem’s portfolio companies, Mehran brings deep healthcare expertise, having spent the majority of his career in the sector.
He has worked with, served on Boards and led numerous companies across the healthcare spectrum including in outsourced pharmaceutical services, clinical trials, commercialization, life sciences, healthcare and school staffing, behavioral health, home health, fertility, reconstructive surgery and veterinary care.
Along with his healthcare expertise across multiple sectors, he brings a strategic view of sectors and business models, origination, negotiation, capital structuring and realization experience.
Before joining InTandem, Mehran was a Managing Director at Webster Equity Partners where he spent more than ten years as a senior investment professional.
During his extensive career in private equity, he also worked at Gemini Investors as a Senior Associate and Arsenal Capital Partners as an Associate.
Mehran began his career in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division, gaining experience in both corporate finance and capital markets.
Mehran received his B.A.
from Bowdoin College, where he was a Sarah and James Bowdoin scholar.
