Michael W. Waage

Michael is a Partner and active investor in the Frontier Performance Fund I LLC (“Frontier”) and advisor to the various exit management strategies of Frontier, Arch River Capital LLC, and Arch River Navigator Fund I LP (collectively “Arch River”).
Michael is also a board advisor to Liquid River Capital Corp.
(LRC).
His expertise focuses on increasing operational disciplines, efficiencies, financial reporting management, and board-level reporting practices for growing companies.
Mike also specializes in exit strategy planning and has been involved in mergers, acquisitions, and sell-side exit management of mid to large-size companies in the United States for the past 25 years.
Michael has held many senior corporate leadership positions in Fortune 100 companies such as Honeywell, US Department of Defense, and advanced government and university research programs.
Michael provided extensive leadership roles that included business development, mergers, and acquisitions, project consulting in aerospace and defense, cutting-edge electronics research, and transportation services.
In addition, Michael carried out assignments for companies such as Lockheed Martin and the US Department of Defense to train US Navy and Marine Corp pilots in their advanced jet-training ‘Top-Gun’ program.
His key responsibilities included hands-on classroom lectures, pilot mentorship, and enclosed simulator training.
Michael is a retired USAF Lt.
Colonel fighter pilot instructor and has held senior leadership positions at various United States Air Force Commands.
The Minnesota Governor’s Office also chose Michael to represent Minnesota in promoting international trade and commerce.
Michael has been a guest speaker at various conferences on the topic of “Beyond the Balance Sheet, Preparing Your Company for Acquisition.” Michael holds a degree in mathematics/physics from Evangel University and graduate work in business leadership from the University of Minnesota.
