Grader is Chief Operating Officer at Aveon Group LP and Chief Risk & Product Development Officer & Managing Principal at Little Harbor Advisors LLC.
He leads Little Harbor Advisors' platform operations and portfolio assessment, which includes product development, portfolio analysis, client services, and financial planning and analysis.
He is also a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Little Harbor Advisors in 2004, Mr. Grader was a Managing Principal of the general partner to several private equity and hedge fund partnerships and was responsible for manager selection, strategic planning, product development, co-portfolio management, and oversight of the private equity and hedged portfolios.
As such, he led the operational and analytics teams and was responsible for investment analysis for manager selection and oversight.
He was a Principal at Radius Capital Partners, LLC, he held senior roles in the incubation of new businesses and the structuring of consolidation transactions in the financial services, information technology, and telecommunications sectors.
Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Comdisco Ventures.
He also worked as a venture capitalist at MassVentures, where he led equity investments, including several niche category leaders in the medical device and enterprise software markets.
In the early 1990's, he was a Senior Consultant at Price Waterhouse, where he was the principal analyst on privatization/restructuring projects in Eastern Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
He also served for three years in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry officer, retiring with the rank of Captain.
He was previously employed as Managing Principal by Tuckerbrook Alternative Investments LP and an Associate by SBC Warburg.
He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MA in International Economics from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
