Paula Diosquez-Rice

Ms. Paula Diosquez-Rice is an Associate Director of Economics at IHS Global Insight (USA), Inc. She specializes in Latin American macroeconomics.
She joined S&P Global Market Intelligence with the acquisition of Global Insight.
With a strong know-how in macroeconomic forecasting/machine learning, econometric model building and model calibration for sizeable and small economies, economic and policy analysis, and country risk assessment, as well as sovereign risk rating and analysis, Paula conducts economic analysis and macroeconomic forecasting for Argentina, Venezuela, Uruguay, Panama, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands among other countries.
She has extensive experience in scenario building for policy analysis (fiscal and monetary policy impact on economic growth) and sovereign risk assessment with detailed examination of a country/territory key liquidity and solvency ratios.
She has significant experience with oil-producing countries in Latin America and extensive collaboration with the S&P Global Market Intelligence energy capability.
She received her undergraduate degree from Universidad Nacional de Tucumán and a graduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
