Ric van Weelden

Mr. Ric van Weelden is the Co-Chief Executive Officer at Janus Capital International Ltd.
He has over 23 years of experience in the investment industry in London, New York, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
He started in August 2007 at Janus Capital International as Managing Director of International Consultant Relations.
In this role, he was responsible for building the company’s relationships with consultants outside the US.
In addition to his consultant relations responsibilities, he joined the board of Janus Capital and became part of the core management team responsible for developing Janus’ business outside the United States.
Prior to Janus, Mr. van Weelden was a Partner and Head of European Business Development at Watson Wyatt with responsibility for growing the firm’s investment consulting business in continental Europe.
He joined WW in 1999 as a Senior Investment Consultant.
Prior to that, he spent eight years in a number of senior client servicing and marketing roles with Commerzbank International Capital Management both in New York and Frankfurt.
