The firm was founded in 1977 as Daehan Investment & Securities Co. Ltd. (until 2007), as Hana Daetoo Securities Co., Ltd. (until 2015) and as Hana Financial Investment Co., Ltd. (until 2022). National Pension Service of Korea (NPSK) is the State-owned pension fund management subsidiary of the Government of South Korea. The firm is headquartered in Jeonju and was founded in 1987.
