PT Pupuk Indonesia Energi is a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) that was established in 2014 to provide electricity and steam supply to support the main business of PT Pupuk (Persero) and its subsidiaries. The company is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. PT Pupuk Indonesia Energi operates two power plants, Gresik Gas Cogeneration Plant (GGCP) and Kaltim-5 Diesel Power Plant (KDM), with a total capacity of 56 MW. The GGCP was built to meet the electricity and steam needs of PT Petrokimia Gresik, which is currently developing its new production facility, Amurea II.
