Tom Kelley is D4V’s Founder and Chairman, connecting portfolio companies to IDEO’s global network of design and business expertise.
As the best-selling author of Creative Confidence and The Art of Innovation, Tom brings his deep knowledge of Silicon Valley culture to D4V.
In his role as a professional storyteller, Tom has spoken to business audiences in more than 30 countries about how to foster a culture of innovation and tap into the creative potential of their organizations.
As a Partner at IDEO, he has helped grow the firm from 15 designers to a staff of more than 750 today, while leading diverse areas such as business development, marketing, human resources, and operations.
He received his MBA at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where he served as the school’s first-ever Executive Fellow.
