He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from February 1, 1995 to January 1, 2003 and was also appointed President on October 1, 1998, an office he previously held from 1988 to 1995.
From 1987 to 1988, he was Vice President and General Counsel of the Company.
Prior to 1987, he was a member of the law firm of Jones Grey & Bayley, P.S., Seattle, Washington, with his principal client representation being on behalf of the Company.
Mr. Matsuyama currently serves on the boards of the Western Energy Institute and the Northwest Gas Association.
