Wendi Taylor Nations

Ms. Nations joined Heidrick & Struggles as senior vice president and chief marketing officer in 2010.
She has more than 20 years of marketing, advertising and corporate communications experience in consumer products, finance, transportation, technology, healthcare and retail.
Previously, Ms. Nations was the managing director, executive vice president of Porter Novelli's Chicago office, where she was a specialist in consumer marketing, new product launch and re-positioning, crisis communications and issues management.
Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Wendi was the senior managing director of Hill and Knowlton's Midwest health care practice.
Before that, she directed marketing planning and advertising for Advocate Health Care, one of the largest provider health systems in the United States.
Ms. Nations has worked in account services at large advertising agencies and began her career as an editorial assistant for Rolling Stone magazine.
Wendi is a member of the Kellogg Advisory Council.
In 2004, Wendi was named one of PR Week's "Who's Who in Crisis Communications." She speaks often about crisis communications, marketing strategy, marketing communications and brand strategy in the consumer and business-to-business marketplace.
Ms. Nations received her bachelor's degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
