(ABM FN) De bouwuitgaven in de Verenigde Staten zijn in januari sterker dan verwacht gestegen. Dit bleek maandag uit cijfers van de Amerikaanse overheid.
In januari stegen de bouwuitgaven met 1,7 procent op maandbasis. Economen rekenden vooraf gemiddeld op een stijging met 0,8 procent.
Op jaarbasis ging het in januari om een stijging met 5,8 procent.
