He is also on the board of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd., Orient Overseas (International) Ltd., Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd. and Cargosmart Ltd. and Member of Hong Kong Logistics Development Council and Member of Hong Kong Maritime & Port Board.

In the past he was Vice Chairman for ICC Committee on Maritime Transport, Co-CEO, Director & Senior Managing Director at Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd., Chief Operating Officer at Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Ltd. and Director-Reefer Trade at Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd.

Lieh Cheung Tung received an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University.
