Ary Chang

Ms. Ary Chang is an Associate at Foley & Lardner LLP (Venture Capital).
The focus of her practice is on patent disputes, but she has litigation experience in patent, copyright, trademark, and trade dress matters.
She is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.
Before joining Foley, Ms. Chang was an associate at an intellectual property law firm, where her practice included intellectual property litigation and technology licensing.
Prior to beginning her legal career, Ms. Chang worked as an engineer at General Electric Co., where she designed and evaluated air pollution control systems for various combustion systems and conducted studies to assess pollution control technologies.
She is a certified Engineer-in-Training in the State of California and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
Ms. Chang graduated, cum laude, from the University of California, Riverside, in 1996 with a B.S.
in environmental engineering.
She received her M.S.
in engineering from the University of California, Irvine, in 1998, where she completed her thesis research at the UCI Combustion Laboratory.
She earned her J.D.
from the UCLA School of Law in 2005, where she was notes editor and articles editor of the Journal of Law and Technology and business manager of the Asian Pacific Law Journal.
