Mr. William P.
Getty is a Managing Director at Makena Capital Management LLC.
He is responsible for portfolio management and manager selection for Makena’s Absolute Return investments across Makena’s vehicles.
He is on the Board of Directors at Makena Real Estate Fund II Cayman LP.
Prior to joining Makena Capital Management, Mr. Getty was an Associate in the Absolute Return Investment Group at Hall Capital Partners, an investment firm based in San Francisco.
At Hall Capital, he performed research and analysis on hedge fund and traditional fixed-income investments.
Prior to this role, he was an Analyst in the Portfolio Management Group.
While earning his MBA, he spent a summer working for Huntington Partners, a value-oriented equity investment firm located in Chicago.
Mr. Getty holds a BA in History from Colby College and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with a concentration in Analytical Finance.
