Chris Weil

Chris Weil is Co-CEO and Founder of Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E).
Launched in November 2022, HS&E’s core focus is on IP creation and monetization, strategic advisory and consulting, media rights, sponsorship marketing, and experiential strategy and activation.
Previously Chris spent 20+ years as Chairman & CEO of Momentum Worldwide where he oversaw the company’s growth from two offices to 30 around the globe and led the company to be one of the largest and most-awarded sports and brand experience agency in the world.
In 2007, Weil coined the term “Phygital” as a way to describe the intersection between physical and digital ecosystems where all brand experiences lie.
Accolades include Weil being named one of the top 100 People Who Make Advertising Great by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), and under Weil’s leadership at Momentum, the agency was concurrently named Best Sports Marketing Agency, Best Experiential Agency, Best Place to Work, and Agency of the Year 41 times around the globe.
Weil was the first non-traditional advertising executive—and the youngest ever elected—to serve as chairman of the 4A’s.
During his two-year term, Weil was instrumental in launching the organization’s High School Initiative and was later named chairman of the High School Initiative Board.
In this role he worked closely with the first two New York public schools to offer comprehensive vocational training for advertising and media careers, and allowed diverse new talent the opportunity to join the advertising and marketing worlds.
Outside of HS&E, Weil serves as a Board Member for both HighPost Capital and consumer product company, Magic Spoon.
Weil lives with his wife and two daughters in New York.
