He has been instrumental in enhancing financial literacy in numerous communities in South Carolina and Virginia.
He was the founder and sole-proprietor of a home improvement company.
Additionally, he was an account executive for an optical company, worked for the postal service, and was an account executive for a food brokerage firm in the Midwest prior to his career in the financial services industry.
Mr. Savage is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
He holds a BS degree in the Social Sciences, School of Continuing Studies.
He was also a member of the National Optometric Association.
He has been a sponsor of the Boys and Girls Club.
He is a former Toastmaster member.
