Dr. Dietmar Scheiter (b.
1958) has been a senior partner with the EquiVest II Fund since 2007.
From 2001 to 2005 he was chairman of the board of TA Triumph-Adler Group, Nürnberg, leading TA through its strategic transition from a holding company to an office communications company with an operative focus.
He began his career in 1984 as a consultant at Bain & Company, Munich.
In 1988 he became managing director of IMM Industrie Management München GmbH, Munich.
IMM was viewed as a pioneer in the private equity business in German "Mittelstand" companies.
With the acquisition of IMM by TA Triumph-Adler AG he became a board member of TA Triumpf-Adler AG in 1994, where he developed and successfully implemented several "Mittelstand" buy-and-build concepts.
He studied business administration in Münster and St. Gallen and earned his doctorate with honors from the University of St. Gallen.
