Prior to joining Magna Vista Investment Management, Mr. Cousins joined Doherty & Associates as Vice President in 1987 and was a Managing Partner until 2006.
Prior to that, he was Vice President of Investments for Royal Trust where he was responsible for all personal investments, including foundation assets.
He also held the prior position of Director of Investments for the Domtar pension funds.
Mr. Cousins is a graduate of Queen's University and is an active volunteer.
He is a past Director of the Montreal Society of Financial Analysts, a past Director of the Pension Investment Association of Canada, and a past President of the Ottawa Chapter of Financial Analysts.
