Mr. Andrew K.
O'Connor, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at CapWealth Advisors LLC.
He joined CapWealth in 2020 as a portfolio manager.
In this role, he is responsible for conducting research on equity and fund investments and applying portfolio analytics on existing positions within the firm’s equity strategies.
Mr. O'Connor performs initial and ongoing analysis of investment strategies and portfolio rebalancing.
He manages the firm’s investment reporting system and compliance within GIPS composites.
Prior to joining CapWealth, he held management positions in client reporting and performance reporting at UBS Financial Services in Nashville.
Originally from Massachusetts, his experience prior to moving to Nashville include his role as a due diligence analyst at Investors Capital Corporation, a former subsidiary of Cetera Financial Group, where he managed the firm’s investment offering platform and conducted due diligence on retail alternative investment products.
He began his career at Interactive Data Corporation (now ICE Data Services) concentrated in security pricing and reference data.
?He graduated cum laude with a dual degree in Finance (Bachelor of Science) and Economics (Bachelor of Arts) at the University of New Hampshire.
He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement and is an active member of the CFA Society in Nashville.
