Fathurrahman Djamil

Currently, Fathurrahman Djamil serves as Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Board at PT Bank BCA Syariah since 2010, PT AIA Cabang Syariah since 2009, and PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk since 2011.
He is a Member of the Shariah Supervisory Board at PT Bank CIMB. Niaga Tbk since 2009, PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance since 2010, and PT Sun Life Financial Indonesia since 2010.
He holds membership positions at the International Islamic Financial Market, Economic Syariah Community, Indonesian Sharia Insurance Association, and Indonesian Waqf Board since 2011.
He is a Professor at the University of Indonesia since 2006.
Formerly, he was Vice Chairman of the National Shariah Board at Majelis Ulama Indonesia from 2010 to 2020, Director at Ahmad Dahlan School of Economics from 2005 to 2011, Deputy Dean at Universitas Islam Negeri Jakarta from 1994 to 2000, Dean at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta from 2000 to 2004, and Member of the Shariah Supervisory Board at PT Lippo Bank Salam from 2007 to 2012.
He was also a Member of the Sharia Board at PT.
Cimb Niaga Auto Finance Manado from 2008 to 2021.
Other former roles include Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Board at PT Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia Tbk and Member of the Shariah Supervisory Board at PT Syarikat Takaful Indonesia.
Education includes a doctorate from McGill University in 1994, and undergraduate (1981), graduate (1987), and doctorate (1994) degrees from Universitas Islam Negeri Jakarta.
