Meyer is General Counsel of Salans, Hertzfeld, Heilbronn, Christy & Viener.
Mr. Meyer is Vice Chairman of the Electricity Committee and the Railroad Committee of the American Bar Association.
He was Director of RailAmerica, Inc. Previously, he was a Director of RailTex, Inc. from 1977 to Feb 2000.
Before that, he was a Division Attorney for the San Antonio Division of the Southern Pacific Railroad from 1969 to 1986.
From January 1998 to 2000, Mr. Meyer was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Central and South West Corporation.
Mr. Meyer was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Central and South West Services, Inc. from 1988 to January 1998.
Mr. Meyer is Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a Member of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.
He received a BBA degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas in 1961 and a JD from the University of Texas in 1964.
