Dunn is Executive Director at Convergent Wealth Advisors LLC.
Prior to joining Convergent Wealth Advisors in August 2008, Mr. Dunn was with Citigroup/Smith Barney Institutional Consulting as a Managing Director, where he spent twenty nine years of his career.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University and holds the Investment Management Consultants Associations Certified Investment Management Analyst designation, graduation from the program held at The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Dunn has received many industry accolades, including being named as one of America's Top 100 Financial Advisors by Barron's magazine since the inception of these rankings five years ago.
He has also been recognized by both Registered Rep and Research magazines as one of the country's top financial advisors since 2003.
Mr. Dunn is a founder and past president of the Association of Professional Investment Consultants former president of the Investment Management Consultants Association and an inaugural member of the Who's Who of Investment Management Consultants.
He is a frequent speaker at investment conferences and symposiums on numerous topics, including alternative investments.
Mr. Dunn is on the Board of Reference of The House, a faith-based organization that provides support to students in SE Washington, DC.
Additionally, he has served as Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Washington Episcopal School.
