Mr. Yun was appointed a Chief Representative of the New York Representation Office for The Bank of Korea in April, 2005, Director General of the Monetary Policy Department in March, 2004, the Financial Markets Department in May, 2002, the Banking Institution Department in April, 2001and the Payment System Department in September, 1996 and Head of Press Office in May, 2000.
He received a BA degree in Business Administration from Seoul National University in 1971 and a MA degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina in 1991.
