Ramakrishnan is a Director and a Co-Founder of USuggest LLC.
He is a Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Department of Computer Science at Stony Brook University.
Previously, Dr. Ramakrishnan was a Research Scientist at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research from 1977 to 1979 and an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland from 1983 to 1985.
He received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 1975 and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Texas in 1983.
