Ina Dugmore

Ms. Ina Dugmore is a Managing Director at Insinger de Beaufort Investments (SA) (Pty) Ltd.
She started her corporate career in 1977 with the quantity surveyors Nicholson Nel & Partners.
In 1980 she moved into the South African mining industry at the pit planning division of Rio Tinto, where a growing interest developed in corporate finance.
This culminated in 1984 with a move to Johannesburg to join the then fledgling Investec Bank to pursue a career in the financial sector.
She was employee number 143 of the exponentially growing Bank.
The foundation of her investment career was set in the Treasury Division under the guidance of the entrepreneurial Stephen Koseff (now CEO).
She returned home in 1986 to Cape Town, where she was tasked with establishing Investec’s Cape Town treasury and investment divisions, as well as sitting on the Cape Town management board.
The final years of her Investec career were spent in the asset management division under the tutelage of Hendrik du Toit, developing her keen interest in global markets.
Ms. Dugmore's 16-year Investec career concluded in 2000 when she joined Insinger de Beaufort.
On joining she was immediately commissioned to develop a boutique family office concept for the high net-worth individual in South Africa.
In 2008 Insinger de Beaufort was acquired by BNP Paribas, one of the largest and most highly regarded banking networks in the world.
