Every month, the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland provides food for 60,000 Cuyahoga County residents, nearly half of whom are children. In addition, they offer linkage services to dozens of vital services to improve the quality of life for those who need their care. The Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland pays for 95% of the food it distributes, purchasing the food from local food warehouses, like the Cleveland Food Bank, and food wholesalers. Generous contributions from caring individuals help them provide effective and efficient services in the fight against hunger. Every $1 raised provides four nutritionally-balanced meals for the families they serve, and their network of volunteers keeps their services running smoothly.
